Abstract

279,992. Rignold, H. R. Sept.. 24, 1926. Brackets, adjusting and securing.-In a bracket of the kind having lugs 2a, adapted to embrace the head of a T-rail, and a lower screw or projection 2c to engage one of a series of holes in the rail so as to allow vertical adjustment of the bracket on the rail, the arm 1 is adjustably pivoted at 3 to the attachment portion 2. In the construction shown in Fig. 1 the arm is formed with a curved slot 5 for engagement with a stud 4 and wing-nut 7, carried by the portion 2. The pivot pin 3 may be detachable to permit various types of arm to be used. In a modification shown in Fig. 3, a screwed rod 4a is pivoted to the inner end of the pivoted arm 1 and passed through a lug 8 on the portion 2 for engagement with a nut 7a.
