Abstract

212,073. Alford, c. R. Feb. 14, 1923. Brackets, adjusting and securing.-A bracket for mounting adjustably on a vertical support comprises a carrying arm 6, provided with a foot 9, having a knife edge 11 which bears against the vertical support 1, and a pivoted link 2 arranged to slide along the support, the link canting under load to grip the support. The link is provided with a knife edge 10 and a part thereof is located in a recess 7 in the bracket so that the lower edge of said' recess forms a stop for maintaining the link in a horizontal position when the bracket is moved upwards. According to the Provisional Specification this stop may take the form of a pin secured in the bracket.
