Abstract

279,181. Pelkman, J. H. N. July 26, 1926. Addition to 250,128. Bakers' ovens.-In baking-apparatus according to the parent Specification, a temperature-controlling chamber 27. heated or cooled by any suitable means, is provided between the baking oven 25 and the prover 26, and provision is made for passing through this chamber the tins or trays from which the baked product has been discharged. As shown, an endless convener 28 passes from the charging station 29 backwards and forwards through the prover 26, then along the bottom of the chamber 27, and finally back to the point 29 along the bottom of the prover. A second conveyer 30 passes from the discharging point 31 along the top of the chamber 27 and then in a zig-zag manner through the oven 25. a transfer device 32 being provided to pass tins or trays from one conveyer to the other. The oven and prover are connected by controllable conduits and similar conduits connect, the chamber 27 with both the oven and the prover.
