Bakers' ovens.-In a baking- plant comprising an oven 2 and a prover 1 having a portion extending horizontally over the oven, the conveyer 3 leaves the prover through an opening 21 above the charging point of the oven and then passes along the top of the oven and round pulleys 14, 15, returning along the top of the prover to the charging end 20. In the apparatus shown, the empty tins or baking- boards are returned to the conveyer 3 at the discharging end 23 of the oven, but a modification is described (Fig. 2, not shown), in which charging and discharging are effected at the same end of the oven.
