Abstract

276,492. Fish, C. J. Aug. 14, 1926. Stays.-The end of the stay-bar 4 is mounted on the attachment bracket by a ball joint comprising a pair of opposed recessed or hollow jaws 3 on the bar engaging opposite sides of the ball 1 carried by the bracket member. The jaws may be integral with the stay-bar, or separate as shown. The under socket member of the bar has a projecting part to engage the bracket and prevent the bar from falling below an approximately horizontal position. The stay-bar has holes to engage a fixed pin to hold the window in an adjusted position.
