Abstract

275,793. Urquhart's (1926), Ltd., and Morgan, G. U. May 12, 1926. Spray burners. - A liquid-fuel burner 7 is mounted in a casing 21 which is provided with ports 20 and is fitted internally with a casing 22 provided with similar ports 23 so that by turning the inner casing within the outer casing the entry of air through the ports may be regulated. The incoming air is given a whirling motion by means of vanes 25 fixed to the inner casing. The burner may he mounted either directlv in the wall 20 of the casing or in a bracket 27 which may be provided with additional air supply passages 29 regulable by means of an apertured plate 30. Inspection windows 34 are provided in the outer casing wall 26. Specification 275,727 is referred to.
