Abstract
271,447. Naamlooze Vennootschap Nederlandsche Seintoestellenfabriek. May 22, 1926, [Convention date]. Thermionic generators and keying systems.- A thermionic transmitter has a contact Y adapted to open a high-frequency circuit and another contact Y to make the grid negative at the same moment by bringing into the plate circuit a resistance D having its end connected to a grid resistance C in order that the energy extracted from the high-tension source F remains constant whether the key is depressed or not. The resistance D is variable to permit regulation of the energy passing through the valve in the non- oscillatory state and is shunted by a condenser E to avoid low-frequency oscillation. The value of the resistance is so chosen that an automatic regulation ensues when the energy supplied to the valve is varied. For example if the energy supplied increases, the plate current also increases thus causing the grid potential to decrease.
