Abstract
267,509. Camel, F. R., (Assignee of Mathieu, A.). March 11, 1926, [Convention date]. Fixed-abutment type; packing drums, vanes, &c.-A conical rotor c slotted to house a pivoted vane g contacts with the oblique inner face b<2> of the casing along a radial line passing between the inlet port e and the outlet port f of the pump. The vane, g is rigidly connected to a spherical bearing-member i. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also a modification wherein a fibre face plate is interposed between the oblique inner face of the casing cover and the vane to take the wear, and a lubricant duct is provided for the bearing i. More than one vane may be used, such vanes being mounted either in the conical or the oblique member, either of which may be the rotor. This subjectmatter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
