Abstract

813,223. Rotary pumps. JABSCO PUMP CO. March 6, 1957 [March 23, 1956], No. 7458/57. Class 110 (2). In a multiple rotary pump of the flexiblevane type the vanes co-operate with a common cam 50 which is slidably received in the pump housing 10 and is provided with notch-shaped inlet and outlet ports 94, 100 respectively. The pump is driven through gears 38, 40 which are journalled in a housing 12 by bearings 30, 32, the housings 10, 12 being connected together by arms 14. The pump is provided with endwear plates 108, 110 which are prevented from rotating by the provision of co-operating flats (see Fig. 3, not shown), or by means of a common pin 116.
