Hoods, weather screens, and opening tops. - In a road vehicle the top cover is adapted to be unwound from a roller accommodated in the rear of the body and pulled over the upper edges of a number of collapsable windows to the front of the vehicle where it is detachably secured to the wind-screen, the side screens or window frames 2 are adapted to be raised from the hollow body sides and engage with each other by tongues and grooves &c.. and a flexible cover 17 is drawn from a spring roller 12, guided by beaded edges 18 in grooves 11 on the top of the window frames, and secured to the wind-screen 21 by eyelets 20 engaging hooks 22 on the wind-screen. The window frames are operated by cranks from the interior of the car through racks and pinions.
