Abstract

265,892. Bielser, J. Oct. 27, 1926. Weather screens. - In road vehicles of the kind in which flexible windows are opened by sliding them into a position beneath the hood, each flexible window is guided by engagement with slots in the pillars 3 and with spaces between pairs of roof sticks 4 of a double roof construction. A space is also provided between the pairs of longitudinal members 6. Stops 5 are provided to limit the movement of the windows the upper edges of which overlap in the open position. The windows consist of pliable sheets 1 of celluloid enclosed by a frame 2 of celluloid, leather, &c., the upper and lower edges being reinforced.
