Cam-actuated pumps. - A two-stroke cycle internal-combustion engine, pump, or compressor of the wobbler or swash-plate type has a series of cylinders a arranged between end plates C around the shaft b upon which is loosely mounted the disc d which has radial arms f engaging the pistons through ball and socket joints. The joints are off-set with respect to the piston axes except in one. case when the axis passes through the joint. The balls slide on the arms f and are pressed towards the pistons by springs.
