Floors of reinforced-concrete girders side by side. - Precast reinforced concrete beams of channel section laid on their sides are formed with bevelled contacting edges 2<1>, 3<1>, 4, 5. The flanges, in bearing on those adjacent, tend to be forced apart and induce elastic deformation before the load is applied. Apertures 6 may be provided, and also inclined shear members 7 in addition to the normal reinforcement.
