Abstract

264,354. Edkins, W. J. March 6, 1926. Press-button fasteners of the kind adapted to be secured to the fabric or other material by a screw device are provided with a projecting part or parts on the attachment member so that it may be readily rotated and secured in position or removed. The stud or socket member may be provided with these projections. The arrangement is described in Fig. 6 as applied to a hollow stud member of the kind described in Specification 106,417, wherein a screw 4 is passed through an aperture made in the base of a bulbous body part 9. The cup 11 is provided with a flange 12 of hexagonal or other faceted formation. In Fig. 3, the socket member 1 is secured to the material by a screw 4, and the clamping member or cap 3 is formed with radial ribs 7 that are formed during the stamping operation.
