Wind and like screens. - In side screens for vehicles of the kind which are pivoted at the lower part and when not in use .can be swung into a recess in the side or door of the vehicle, two separte screen portions 2, 3, pivoted at 9 and 8 respectively, are arranged one at the rear of the other and have an operative link connection 15 between them so that they move together in the same direction, and are adapted, when raised, to meet at their edges forming a continuous screen, and when lowered to lie face-to-face in a recess 10 between an internal and external panel of the vehicle. The link 15 and arm 13 have a pin-andslot connection under the influence of a spring 20 so that the screen 2 can be moved independently of the screen 3 to clear the door 18. A clip 16 on the screen 3 secures the upper ends of the screens together in the raised position and a catch 17 on the top rail body locks the screens in their operative position. The recess 10 may be closed by a narrow lid hinged along the vehicle rail.
