Abstract

263,348. Fesca, P., (trading as Fesca & Sohn, C. A.). March 3, 1926. Strainer separators.-A strainer separator comprises two perforated pans 2, 13, one inverted on the other, the upper pan 13 being rotatable but axially immovable, the other pan 2 being rotatable on an axially movable shaft 1 in order to separate the pans and allow discharge of the solid material through the opened edges of the pans into the collecting chamber 21. The liquid is discharged into the chambers 20, 22. The shaft 1 is moved axially by a hydraulic or pneumatic cylinder 12 acting through a lever 10 which supports the ball-bearing casing 6.
