Breech actions, drop-down barrel.-The firing- spring bears with one limb 13 against the cocking lever 3, at a point between the pivot 7 thereof and the end 11 acting on the tumbler 1, and with the other limb 15 against a lever 19 engaging the underside of the barrels, so that the spring tends to open the gun when the locking holt is released. As shown, the lever 19 is pivoted on a prolongation 20 of the hinge pin of the barrels and its end projects through an opening 17 in the top of the breech body. The cocking lever has a slot 23 surrounding the pivot 20.
