261,536. Lanchester, F. W., and Lanchester's Laboratories, Ltd. Nov. 10, 1925. Controlling different functions by same l e v e r ; pedals and pedal levers, mounting. - The accelerator pedal is mounted on the brake pedal lever, which is operated by an extended movement of the accelerator pedal. The accelerator pedal c is mounted on a fulcrum b on the brake pedal lever a and is connected by a link e having a lost motion connection m to a lever f connected to the throttle. On depressing the accelerator pedal, the throttle is opened until in the fully open position the pedal contacts with a stop h on the brake pedal lever. Further movement of the accelerator pedal depresses the brake lever and applies the brake.
