Hasp fastenings. - In a hasp fastening comprising a hasp c hinged to an attachment plate a by turned-over lips c<2>, the hasp spring d is rigidly attached at one end to the hasp and at the other end is so connected with the attachment plate as to prevent outward strain on the hinge. The spring is of U-shape with its free ends turned at d<2> to engage side slots a<6> in the attachment plate. A stop g is formed on the attachment plate. Specification 183,761 is referred to.
