Hasp fastenings.-In a hasp fastener of the type in which hinging lips on the hasp are held in engagement with the top edge of a gap in the attachment plate by a member which also acts as an abutment for the hasp spring, this member is formed as a bar c integral with the attachment plate a and extending across the gap. When the hinging lips d<4>, d<5> and the side lips d<2>, d' are in position the bar c is pressed up to retain the hasp in place.
