147,315. Gimson, H. H. May 10, 1919. Catches, spring.-A snap fastening for boxes comprises a catch on the lid, such as a resilient strip 10 with a rolled edge 11, which engages a staple 2, Fig. 2, or a bent plate 13, Fig. 4, placed in a notch 8 in the side of the box, which notch the part 10 enters and practically fills. In a modification, the lid carries a screw eye to engage with the staple &c. on the box body. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 25594/96, 20197/02, and 342/09.
