Portable pressure reservoirs; chemicals.-In a fire-extinguisher closed by a seal or valve a mixture of extinguishing liquids, for example methyl bromide and pentachlorethane, is ejected by the expansion of liquid carbon-dioxide contained in the same vessel as the liquids. The vessel is first charged with the liquids in a refrigerating chamber, and then a quantity of liquid carbon-dioxide is added, and the vessel sealed. The vessel preferably has a flexible, weighted, dip tube.
