Lenses; colour systems.-Photographic objectives for use in conjunction with films provided with ,a lenticular surface are constructed so that the pupil of emergence is at infinity or a great distance in front of the sensitive surface of the photographic film or plate. By this construction the images of the colour selecting filters used in the objectives are independent of the focal lengths of the objectives used in taking or projecting. In one example, Fig. 3, a collimating lens C is placed in the vicinity of the focal plane of the objective O, the whole combination being designed to reduce to a minimum the optical errors. In the case of symmetrical objectives, Fig. 4, each half is composed of two separate components O, C and O<1>, C', the compartments C, C<1> acting as collimating lenses. For asymmetrical lenses used for copying one-half of the objective shown in Fig. 4 is used as the collimating lens.
