Abstract

243,365. Landoy, C. Nov. 21, 1924, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Act]. Ventilators for vehicles, such as closed motor cars and wagons, ships, aircraft cabins, &c., consists of means for withdrawing air through the medium of a partial vacuum provided in a chamber attached' to the vehicle being ventilated, as in Fig. 1. The partial vacuum is formed by means of a current of air due to the motion of the vehicle in the direction faced by the larger end 2 of a horn, and said current leaves the smaller end 3 of the horn at such speed as to withdraw air from the vehicle &c. through a pipe 1. Air may also be supplied to vehicles &c. by apparatus 1, 2, 3, Fig. 2.
