241,594. Perry, E. S. July 21, 1924. Handgrip sliding - jaw wrenches.-In a spanner or wrench of the kind having a jaw 5 sliding on the shank 2 of a fixed jaw 1 and a cam lever 7, the pivot 15 of which can be engaged in one of a number of holes 13, the link 6 connecting the lever 7 with the jaw 5 is slotted at 6<a>. The holes 13 are connected by slots 14 and the pin 15 is provided with a narrower portion 16 so that, in changing the position of the lever 7, the pin is pushed in to allow the narrower portion 16 to pass through the slots 14.
