Plug connectors. - A socket terminal into which tags or plugs for telephones or electric lighting may be inserted comprises a member 1 closely encircled by a spring that presses laterally against the plug &c. A groove 6 is cut in the side of the socket and a spring 4 of semi-circular or other form corresponding to the reduced section fitted therein so that the straight limb 7 intersects the bore of the socket and contacts with the tags 5 when inserted. The limb 7 may have a curved surface.
