Abstract

263,208. Rottenburg, H., and Bartholomew, H. B. Aug. 21, 1925. Plug couplings.-The pins E or sockets of a two-pin coupling are each mounted on a block A of insulating material, the blocks being hinged together and pressed apart by a spring D, so as to fit various connectors and give resilient pressure at the contacts. The blocks may be hinged by means of cup-shaped members B attached to a stem C. The wires F pass through holes in the blocks A and are secured by nuts G. Sockets H may be provided at the other end of the contacts E and the stem C may be prolonged to form an additional pin for an earth connection.
