Abstract

258,658. Forbes, Sir C. S. June 23, 1925. Plug couplings. - Each of the members of a wall plug coupling comprises an insulating body a, l having countersunk holes in which the contact pins f and sockets n, having heads g, o respectively, are located. The contact members are held in place by covers b, m that either screw upon the body, or are secured thereto by separate screws. The pressure of the covers also grips the leads i that are passed through or round the contact members below the head g, o. Spring washers w may be placed below the heads. The cover m of the socket member has recesses q that fit the heads o and position the cover correctly, the fixing screw being also utilized to secure the cover. The leads i are passed through recesses v in the socket, member and through a central hole k in the cover of the plug member.
