Tank carts. - A bolster 2 for supporting a tank 1 on a road vehicle consists of two sheet-metal shells 4, 5 which are telescoped together, as shown in Fig. 3, and welded at the edges 7. They are secured to the longitudinal frame members 3 by angle pieces 15 and T-headed bolts 17, reinforcing irons 21 being welded to the bolster. A curved bed plate 9 for the tank 1 is welded to the bolster 2 at the middle part 8 which is shaped to form a cradle. The projecting ends carry running boards 11.
