Abstract
238,654. Clark, R. June 17, 1924. Feedwater, supplying and controlling.-In an apparatus for regulating automatically the supply of feedwater to a boiler, in which the feedwater regulating valve is actuated by liquid pressure which varies as the result of variations in the extent of contact of the liquid container with the steam or water of the boiler, the heatconducting wall which is in contact with the steam or water is in the form of a separate depending cup the rim of which is secured between the heating chamber and its cover. The heat-conducting wall e of the chamber a is in contact with the steam or water from the boiler through passages c and d. The cup f is secured between the body g and cover and a filling plug p is provided. Specification 110,141 is referred to.
