Abstract

236,839. Faudi, F. Jan. 30, 1925. Disc wheels.-The disc 12 of a steering road wheel of a motor vehicle is riveted at 11 to the hub member 10 and is dished so that the centre of the rim is in line with the steering pin 5. The dishing takes the form of a cylindrical portion 13 which strengthens the disc and may act as a brake drum and be provided with a ribbed cooling ring 30. A ring 20 secured to the wheeldisc covers the gap between that disc and a disc 7 carrying the stub-axle 8.
