236,775. Davies, B. W., Bell, P. A. G., and Edmondson, J. E. Oct. 8, 1924. Mixing filuids in flow.-In apparatus for mixing fluids in flow in proportionate quantities, of the kind comprising a combined reciprocating motor and pump operated by liquid taken from the upstream side of a Venturi tube in a pipe line conveying one of the liquids and adapted to inject the second liquid into the pipe line, the exhaust 11 from the motor 5, 6 is returned to the throat 4<a> of the Venturi pipe 4. The pistons 12<a> of the pump 12 are smaller than those of the motor, and the second liquid is injected through the pipe 18 at any point in the pipe line 2.
