Abstract

The mixer assembly comprises first and second tanks, first, second and third conduits, an impeller pump, and a valve for controlling fluid flow from the second tank. The first conduit is connected to the bottom of the first tank and to the impeller pump, which has a fluid inlet and an outlet for pressurised fluid. The second conduit is connected to the first tank. The fluid in the second tank is mixed with that in the first, without air entrainment. The third conduit is connected to the valve, and to the first conduit at a point before the first fluid flowing from the first tank reaches the pump inlets.
