Class 86 [Also in Group XXVIII] A double acting pump 9 drawing from a tank 15 is actuated by a double-acting liquid pressure engine 5 having a reciprocating distributing valve 3 operated by a coupling 7 to a rod 6. A metering pump 1 draws liquid from a tank 2 and supplies it to the distributing valve 3. Several pumps associated with a common shaft can be used to deliver metered quantities of liquids to a mixing system.
