Driving-arrangements for paddle-wheels.- Ships' paddle-wheels a are driven by an hydraulic motor g supplied by a pump f driven by a prime mover c, the pump and motor shafts being transverse to each other. In a modification, the paddle-wheel shaft is divided, each half being driven by an hydraulic motor, supplied by a common pump or independent pumps.
