Compound or articulated road vehicles.-The draw-bar 11 of a trailer is connected to the tractor 1 by a universal coupling at 2, and a steering bar 7 is universally-jointed to the tractor at 6, the steering bar being pivoted to a trailer steering-arm 3 of length equal to the distance between the two points 2, 6. The trailer wheels are swivelled together by a coupling link 8 when the arm 3 is rotated.
