Abstract

228,524. Soc. Anon. des Anciens Etablissements Panhard et Levassor. Jan. 30, 1924, [Convention date]. Liquid fuel, supplying.- In a pressure fuel feeding device for internal-combustion engines. a fluid-tight chamber 4 communicates with the discharge pipe 6, the inlet end of which is provided with a clack valve 7. The chamber 4 may be formed separately from the fuel tank 1, and may be situated outside the tank. When pressure prevails in the tank, fuel enters the chamber 4 until the pressures balance: should the pressure in the tank be reduced for any reason, the fuel in the chamber 4 is available for starting &c.
