Magneto-electric machines.-The fixed armature core 1 of a magneto is secured to each polepiece 2 by means of an angle-piece 4 hinged at 6 to the pole-piece, and a clamping member, such as a screw 5, carried by the horizontal arm of the angle-piece is adapted to bear on a plate 7 mounted on and insulated from the armature core.
