Stoppers, screw; capstoppers, bayonet-joint. - A carton or container of paper or similar material comprised a body 10, Fig. 5, of conical shape having a narrowed cylindrical neck portion 11 over which seats a flanged cover 12, Fig. 4, the upper edge of which is rolled or beaded to retain the disc part 13 in place. The upper part 11<a> of the neck is slightly tapered. The neck and the lid flange may, as shown, have interengaging means such as projections 16 adapted to take into bayonet-slot depressions 17, or the lid may be applied by screw or similar action.
