Bottoms; rims of openings; bodies.-In a paper or like receptacle 1 having a metal bottom 3 and a metal rim 2 surrounding the mouth, the diameters of the bottom and mouth are so proportioned that the metal bottom and metal rim can be stamped in two concentric portions from a metal blank 4, preferably in the form of a disc, and with no waste of material, as shown. The parts 2, 3 are secured by rolling the flanges 10, 8 over the edges of the receptacle. The body may be of conical, spherical, or other curved shape.
