Cap stoppers, bayonet-joint. - To facilitate opening a circular box, canister, &c. ridges B, each having a portion thereof parallel to the rim of the receptacle and one end B<1> bent or curved downwardly, are provided on the outside of the body A, and curled spring lips E are formed upon the lid D. Upon rotation of the lid or body each lip engages the upper surface of the adjacent ridge to separate the lid from the body. Depressions F may be formed in the body to enable it to be held more firmly.
