Abstract

226,216. British Thomson-Houston Co., Ltd., (Assignees of Prince, D. C.). Dec. 14, 1923, [Convention date]. Thermionic generators of the " push-pull " type comprise an inductance 6 connected to the anodes 4 with an intermediate point 7 connected to the continuous current supply 8 through an inductive winding 17. The inductance 6 is coupled to an inductance 9 connected to the grids 5 and connected at an intermediate point 10 to the cathodes 3 through an inductive winding 18 magnetioally coupled to the winding 17. The windings 17, 18, in addition to being magnetically coupled, may be coupled by a capacity 19. The oscillation frequency is determined by condenser 14 in shunt to the inductance 6. The Specifioation gives curves showing the relations between the various currents and voltages of the system.
