Oscillation generators.-In a system employing thermionic rectifiers 1 - - 6 for delivering highpotential direct current to a load 18, such as a wireless telegraph transmitter, which is subject to frequent and large variations in the amount of current used, a resistance load, small in comparison with the total load, is connected permanently in parallel with the consumption circuit. In the arrangement shown, smoothing condensers 19 - - 22 are also connected in parallel with the consumption circuit, and the resistance load is subdivided into sections 23 - - 26 in shunt with the condensers, to serve as a protective resistance for the latter.
