Magnetic speed indicators.-In an eddy-current speed indicator in which the rotating magnet system comprising a magnet f and an iron cover plate g encloses the armature i, the bearings o, q for the shaft k of the armature i and pointer l are arranged on the rotating system. The shaft b is arranged to rotate in bearings in the lower part of the casing. In this way the use of supporting bridge pieces is avoided. A stop pin n is provided to position the pointer l at zero.
