Abstract

223,345. Curties, H. Aug. 7, 1923. Addition to 193,148. Composition fuel.-In place of potassium nitrate introduced into powdered oil shale according to the parent Specification, ground sodium nitrate is employed in quantities dependent upon the composition of the shale. A five per cent addition generally gives a fair combustion. The mixture may be pressed into bricks or used in granular or powdered form.
