Abstract

169,111. Davidson, S. C. Nov. 1, 1920. Addition to 159,996. Composition fuel.-To the ingredients of the peat fuel described in the parent Specification is added powdered pitch or coal or other material which renders the briquette capable of burning freely in an open fire-grate with a yellow flame. Approximately 10 per cent of pitch is added, the weight of wet peat being reduced by that amount. When finely powdered coal is used, 15 per cent may be added, the slaked lime being reduced by 5 per cent.
