Abstract
221,305. British Thomson-Houston Co., Ltd., (Compagnie Franþaise Thomson- Houston). June 28, 1923. Drawings to Specification. Master control systems; electric braking; series-parallel systems.-In a series-parallel system comprising a master-controller adapted to cause step-by-step movement of a pneumaticallyoperated cam-sha.ft which closes motor-circuit contactors in a predetermined order, the series notches are utilized as non-automaitic braking notches by providing additional contacts on the master-controller and interrupting and reversing switches controlled thereby.
