Junction boxes; couplings. -The conduits and the corresponding outlets of the connectors and fittings are of such cross-section as to prevent the Insertion of the conduit into the outlet in such a way as to bring the longitudinal seam or joint in the conduit under the action of the contact attachment screw. The conduits and outlets are of trapezoidal cross-section A, one of the parallel sides a<1> being shorter than the other side a<2>. The seam a<4> is located in a side of the trapezoid other than the one in which the contact screw D engages. The contact screws are used for retaining the lids of inspection openings in position.
