Abstract
220,619. Unger, N. A. Aug. 18, 1923, [Convention date]. Explosives.-Ammonium nitrate is mixed with ferrosilicon or silicon, and nitroglycerine, which may be gelatinized with 4 per cent of nitrocellulose. Part of the ammonium nitrate, up to 10 per cent, can be replaced by an alkali nitrate; and part of the nitroglycerine may be replaced by picric acid or trinitrotoluene.
