Abstract

220,388. Robinson, J., and Derriman, W. H. May 17, 1923. Vacuum tubes.-A grid and anode are made in the form of inductances and each provided with a number of separate terminals, which allow of connection being made to each end of the electrode. Magnetic coupling is thus obtained between the grid and anode circuits, and may be increased by auxiliary inductances inside the valve.. External coupling may be dispensed with, or only employed to enable the total coupling to be varied. The grid and anode may consist of helices surrounding a filament, of flat or volute spirals, or of rectangular spirals or. frames.
